We had a fun surprise last week. Both of us were busy with all the upcoming plans for spring when our friend Jill from Fibersphere walked in the door. We had lots of fun visiting with her about all of you that love the Fibersphere, and she shared with us her new product, which by the way will be in the shop very soon. It's a silk project bag sized perfectly for the fibersphere AND it has a wrist handle so that you can use it for "knitting or crocheting on the Go". We can't wait. Thanks Jill! Binding Off

I own 3 5" Fiberspheres and 2 7"Fiberspheres. I love them!! When using double stranded yarn, ie. LaBoheme, it helps with the strands staying equal and keep from tangling. I never go anywhere in the car without one. It protects my yarn (generally it is on the floor) and keeps it easy to continue knitting. I just recently acquired :) my Wristlet, which holds my 5” Fibersphere, and I get comments on how beautiful it is, what is it for and when knitting in line at the grocery store people marvel at how it works.

The Fibersphere does what it says it does on the package. They protect those balls of yarn which would normally roll around in your project bag or on the sofa, where they would normally tempt your cat(s) to start patting and then chewing. You ball up your yarn. (The spheres come in two different diameters, 7″ and 5″.) You pop the balls into the spheres and close the cover, making sure the yarn is feeding through the hole. You start knitting. Lightweight, great for stranded colorwork, won’t snag your yarn, feeds the yarn out smoothly, and the pink versions donate 5% of the cost to breast cancer research.
